President and Sister Samuelson speak on character and ‘dragons’

  1. Ryo. This is a good article. I liked it, and I learned some important things. We can protect our integrity if we keep a strong character to do everything. Also, it is important to remember we have made covenants with our Heavenly Father. This was good remind for me.

  2. In my opinion it is important everything about Rules, somethings we can think in different situations that we do not rules to follow. Each student should know rules and the importance what we have studying here in BYU.

    It's very motivating to take the advices and remember who we are and what we do at BYU. Sister Samuelson help us painting a mental image for students with the phrase "here be dragons" that was a map and it represent what students can do to stay focused on their character and avoid the spiritual dragons that are all around. It was a good speech

  7. Im so grateful to be in ELC because there I can grow up in knowledge secular and spiritual. The Tuesday's devotional is very significant to BYU students because we can remember the "higher purpose" in our life.

  8. For me it was a great blessing to come to ELC, because I knew I would find people with the same principles of the code of honor, and so I chose to come and study here. I believe that human beings should develop fully, and my purpose for being here is to grow spiritually and in knowledge. So I think that ELC is an appropriate place for my development.

  9. It was a really good talke given by pte. sammuelson and his wife. they focused on spiritual welfare. I liked the way how they taught avoiding spiritual damnage. they expalin that we need to norish our soul by reading the scriptures and praying often for avoiding any sin because sin can damnage our soul.
